I have finally arrived

yet I have been here

a while.

A long time coming,

but I’m here

God is my friend and well

I am a friend of God.

I am God’s friend.

He doesn’t leave me,

He’s proven He never will.

He is not like those who leave.

He is one who stays.

When we stray He stays.

When we wander He’s right here.

When we walk away He carries us.
